Thom Bateman Author

Thom Bateman started his career working at a Latin American restaurant, where at just 18 years old he was made the head chef. In 2019, he started a food blog, where he showcased his immense talent, then in 2020, he took on his family's restaurant with the intent to create a fine dining space for the first time in the area. His restaurant The Flintlock has recently gained 3AA rosettes as well as entering the Michelin guide – the first restaurant ever in that area to get these accolades. He is about to open his second restaurant on the same site, due to the success of The Flintlock. Thom represented the Central region for Great British Menu.
