The first time Marcus the Roman Tribune met Queen Boudica he thought she was going to ride him down on her black horse!

Then she stopped and stared at him silently. 'This is not your road, but it is mine,' she said. 'I am the Queen here.’ Then she gave him a brooch as her token.
